Job summary

The Ecology team in Canterbury is seeking an Ecologist to join a well-established environmental consultancy. You will conduct habitat and protected species surveys, prepare Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, and contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain assessments on a varied project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The business works across a diverse range of development and land management projects, providing practical ecological advice from initial site assessments through to planning, mitigation and project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist to work on varied projects while developing their technical skills within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

The role will involve:
