Job summary

Cheshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a skilled GIS Officer to join our Data & Insights team. You will deliver expert spatial analysis, mapping and ecological data support across the organisation, developing geospatial tools, datasets and workflows to keep our evidence sharp and accessible.

You’ll work across teams to turn complex spatial information into outputs that non-specialists can use with confidence, ensuring data accuracy, governance and fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Experience in GIS and spatial data management.
• Ability to turn complex spatial information into clear outputs for non-specialists.
• Understanding of ecological datasets and data standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert spatial analysis and mapping across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain geospatial tools, datasets and workflows.
• Support funding bids, reserve management and stakeholder engagement.
