Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and station communication systems
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for fault updates and task completion

Ideal candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is preferred.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
