Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex work and helping build critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens,
• Attending maintenance tasks,
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults,
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data,
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates.

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits someone hands-on, capable of multitasking, eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background,
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness,
• Problem-solving skills,
• Full UK Driving Licence,
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
