Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology and an eagerness to learn? Start your career with us and help shape the future of finance technology. We’re looking for a motivated and curious Graduate Software Engineer to join our collaborative development team and grow into a key contributor in building software used by some of the UK’s most recognisable blue-chip and household-name clients.
What will the role involve?
You’ll join a supportive UK and India-based development team and receive full training to help you thrive in your role. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, including:
- Learning to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions
- Gaining hands-on experience with real client projects and understanding user needs
- Supporting and improving existing software products
- Developing skills in customer-facing support and having the opportunity to travel within the UK occasionally
- Contributing to innovation by suggesting new ideas and improvements
- Collaborating with colleagues to solve real-world challenges in the financial sector
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another technology-related subject
- An interest in software development and a desire to build a career in tech
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C#, or similar)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn from others
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience or university projects related to software development
- Knowledge of SQL or experience with Oracle or MS SQL databases
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA (but don’t worry – we’ll teach you!)
