The Strength & Conditioning Team is part of the Performance Services Team within the Sport Systems Team, dedicated to delivering exceptional performance programmes aimed at providing the best experience for students and athletes. The candidate should possess practical and professional knowledge to implement effective S&C support and engage with athletes to help them reach their potential. Flexibility to work with coaches and support staff in a multi-sport environment is essential.
The role involves administering and delivering robust S&C provision for our Cardiff Met Category A Boys Football Academy or Team Wales programmes for the Commonwealth Games. Responsibilities include gym and field-based training, rehab support, and injury prevention. Experience working with youth and high-performance athletes in a multi-sport setting is required. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including coaches and support staff.
