A leading FinTech company in the UK is seeking a dynamic digital specialist to drive their growth strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital marketing landscape, focusing on lead generation and market development. The Role:An entrepreneurial and evangelical digital specialist (commercial marketer) is now sought to further unlock the company's potential. The next stage of growth will be built around the digital proposition, lead-generation, affiliate activities and building the profile of a brand which aims to become the next rising star of UK and international financial services. The position reports to board level and will occupy a key strategic position in the management team - as reflected by the career opportunity on offer, including share dividends as the company continues to grow. The key responsibilities include market development strategy, supervising a small team, directing all lead generation and pipeline activity, delivery of campaigns, coordinating Google Analytics and other metrics, identifying opportunities for joint activities/collaborationsand new market prospecting.
The Ideal Candidate will be an agile, dynamic and commercially focused (i.e. results-driven) marketer with an appetite for growing something spectacular. Brochures and brollies are not the crux of this job but blue-chip lead generation and pipeline cultivation most certainly are.
To be considered you are likely to be the holder of a strong marketing/digital/management degree - or an MBA - and can demonstrate five years’ post-grad’ proposition-based achievement ideally (but not necessarily) with a dynamic B2B technology SME, FinTech company or e-commerce platform. But high achievers with a proven marketing pedigree in other sectors will also be considered on merit, as will ambitious senior AMs or ADs from digital marketing agencies.
The role is based in northwest England but will involve some travel (especially to London), occasional client meetings, preparation of pitches and attendance at IT and financial trade shows etc. The position carries a highly competitive remuneration package, including excellent benefits and a performance-based share release scheme.
