Join a thriving and innovative Electronics Manufacturer in the Portsmouth area, currently on an exciting upward curve of expansion thanks to several cutting-edge projects. We’re looking for a proactive Purchasing Administrator to work alongside our Project Controller, supporting the procurement function and managing purchasing administration.
You'll be responsible for working with new and existing suppliers, helping to build and maintain strong supplier relationships that support our high standards and dynamic operations.
What we’re looking for:
Experience purchasing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience of managing and developing clear, value-add relationships with suppliers
Solid technical understanding of electronic components, PCBs, and materials used in high-reliability settings
Strong communication skills
Previous experience of structuring and running MRP / ERP systems would be an advantage
Problem-solving and risk management skills
