Step into the role of Head of Data Deployment & Risk Management at Barclays, where you'll oversee the testing and deployment of large-scale data projects, collaborating with stakeholders to manage the data risk portfolio throughout the software product lifecycle. This role can only be performed from Glasgow.

Key Experience Required:

• Data Platform Service Design, SLAs, and Customer / User Experience measurement.
• Data Platform Change and Risk Management in Financial Services.
• Experience with Scaled Agile or similar frameworks.
• Essential knowledge of Cloud (AWS).

The role involves assessing risk and controls, managing change and transformation, and demonstrating strategic thinking and digital expertise.

Purpose of the Role:

To manage the delivery of large-scale technical projects across the bank, ensuring stakeholder collaboration and adherence to time, budget, and quality standards.

Accountabilities:

1. Manage delivery, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of technical projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
2. Collaborate with teams to support customer trials and define feasible solutions.
3. Work with engineers, quality teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality products aligned with regulatory and security policies.
4. Identify and mitigate project risks.
5. Manage change requests and stakeholder communication.
6. Oversee vendor relations to ensure delivery according to terms.
7. Stay updated on industry technology trends and foster a culture of learning and excellence.
