Advanced Nurse Practitioner at The Maryhill Group Practice, Elgin

The Maryhill Group Practice, based in the beautiful town of Elgin in Moray, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic ANP to join our Duty team. Sessional commitment is negotiable, with up to full-time hours available.

About Us:
We are a long-established and innovative practice, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our list of 22,500 patients. Our Partnership currently consists of five GPs, supported by an excellent team of salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, an Integrated Community Nursing Team, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Workers, and Administrative staff.

We pride ourselves on being a collaborative and supportive team that values professionalism, innovation, and a patient-centred approach. We are committed to continual improvement and actively promote a culture of learning and development to ensure we provide the best possible care to our patients.

The Role:
As an ANP at the practice, you will work alongside the Duty Doctor, Duty ECPs, ANPs, and Minor Illness Nurses to cover the unscheduled care work of our 22,500 patients. This includes telephone triage, duty clinics, and house calls. While autonomous, the role has the duty doctor available for advice and support throughout the working day.

• Is competent and confident to work as an autonomous practitioner with advanced clinical skills and independent prescribing qualifications
• Is passionate about patient care and committed to delivering the highest standards of service
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Has a collaborative, team-based approach
• Brings experience in Primary Care, Acute, or Emergency medicine
