Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator based at our Finance Centre in Riccarton, Edinburgh. This role is suitable for someone with experience in a similar role or someone seeking to develop a long-term career in finance. Known internally as EASST (European Accounting & Shared Services Team), EASST supports key regions across Europe including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, and France. It offers a platform for professional growth within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. Treasury Operations, a key component of our model, manages CRL cash for all European Charles River companies and works alongside specialists in Accounting, VAT, Corporation Tax, Controls, Treasury, and Projects. EASST continues to grow as a valued business partner.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform bank reconciliations for sterling and foreign currency accounts.
  2. Review daily bank balances and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
  3. Ensure all entities have the required funding.
  4. Facilitate multi-currency payments, including transfers between entities.
  5. Collaborate with the US Treasury team on cash repatriations.
  6. Manage the Bank Tracker system.
  7. Process bank transactions to meet month-end deadlines.
  8. Support European Banking Reporting and Treasury projects.
  9. Interact with bank and business stakeholders on banking queries.
  10. Maintain the CRL travel and expenditure system, including reconciliations and audits.
  11. Manage credit card administration and support cardholders.
  12. Ensure all tasks comply with company procedures and Sox controls through ongoing audits.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Continuous improvement mindset.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Language skills are beneficial but not essential.

The salary depends on skills and experience. The closing date is 03 June 2025.
