Job description

Job Title: People Change Manager - (Outside IR35)

On behalf of AWE, we are seeking a People Change Manager for an 18-month contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week on-site.

About AWE: AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security, supporting nuclear deterrence and threat reduction to keep the UK safe. The team of over 6,500 people works on challenging projects, including those involving submarine technology and space launch systems.

Role Overview: The People Change Manager will support HR projects, lead smaller initiatives, and ensure effective change management aligned with legal and best practices. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, managing TU negotiations, and providing expert advice on organizational change.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • HR Change Management Experience
  • Knowledge of Employment Law and Policy
  • Experience implementing contractual and transformational change
  • Stakeholder and Trade Union engagement skills
  • Process design and project management experience

Desirable: TUPE experience and CIPD qualification are advantageous but not mandatory.
