Engineers - Mechanical & Electrical / Multi-Skilled Engineer - Due to expansion, we are seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to join our state-of-the-art waste management facility in Coventry, West Midlands, on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

As a Multi-skilled Engineer, you will ensure our facility operates smoothly by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and minimizing downtime. Your efforts will directly support our waste management mission.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) following OEM specifications, recording data in our CMMS
2. Collaborate with the cleaning team to maintain high performance standards
3. Monitor and support operational staff to ensure safety and efficiency
4. Provide immediate support to operators, oversee plant repairs, and ensure safety compliance
5. Lead during team leader absence and mentor junior team members to foster training, compliance, and continuous improvement

About You

You should be an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with a background in mechanical & electrical engineering, proven on-site maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight schedules. A minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or a related field is required. Experience with heavy equipment such as conveyors, motors, hydraulics, PLC systems, and waste industry familiarity is preferred.
