Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA, and APAC).

Your Responsibilities

1. Compliance and Risk Management: Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including ethics and data privacy programs. Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.
2. Corporate Governance: Maintain corporate records and filings. Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
3. Legal Advisory: Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on various matters, including regulatory compliance and general corporate issues. Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines.
4. Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed. Help resolve legal issues efficiently.
5. Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and integration of newly acquired businesses.
6. Reviewing and Advising on Agreements: Review NDAs and other commercial contracts.
7. Training and Education: Deliver training sessions to staff on legal topics such as data protection, intellectual property, or contract management.

Your Experience

• Legal experience (minimum 1 year required)
• Experience reviewing commercial contracts or in a commercial setting
• Commercial awareness
