Are you a Hydraulic Engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you want to play a vital role in fluid mechanics and transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure projects?

Our clients are seeking a Principal Hydraulic Engineer to join their talented team in Manchester. The role involves working on iconic engineering projects across the UK and internationally, specialising in fluid mechanics across sectors such as water, defence, energy, aviation, urban development, and education.

Role

• Lead a team in technical design following relevant standards and codes
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals
• Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones
• Collaborate with teams across the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in design

Requirements

• Chartered Civil Engineer with experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects
• Proficient in hydraulic design of water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, surge analysis, and familiar with UK standards
• Experienced with industry software such as HADES, VARISM, and WANDA
