The Account Director at WTW UK will be responsible for providing specialised insurance broking services for clients within the power and energy sector. This includes identifying client needs, negotiating with underwriters, and placing insurance coverage that meets client requirements. You will work closely with clients to develop risk management strategies and provide advisory services that align with their business objectives.

The Role

As part of the team, your key responsibilities are:

1. Understand the clients’ business and risk transfer needs and offer solutions to fulfil those needs through ongoing service.
2. Understand, apply, and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures.
3. Establish and maintain active relationships with clients, retail offices, and (Re)Insurers.
4. Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise where required.
5. Draw on expertise within the team and across the Group for clients as needed.
6. Liaise with clients and build strong relationships.
7. Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies that meet clients’ needs and generate profitable business for a range of clients.
