As a SEN / SEMH Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging Maths or English lessons to small classes of children (max 8) with SEMH needs. You will teach across subjects and provide the necessary support to help them make good progress. The school maintains a high staff-to-student ratio and focuses on addressing educational, social, and therapeutic needs, prioritizing individual happiness and wellbeing, allowing students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Many children have experienced adverse childhood experiences, face barriers in life, and are at increased risk of negative outcomes. Your role will be crucial in providing consistency, equipping children and young people with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and confident in their potential.
