Job summary

Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby is seeking a Project Delivery Professional – EC&I to join the Dreadnought Programme. You will lead EC&I package delivery, manage schedules, cost and risk, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

You will maintain PMP/WBS/SoW artifacts, support supply chain strategies, and drive governance IPT meetings to ensure change control and timely delivery to specification.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, cost and timelines.
• Experience delivering in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in PM tools and change control processes (PMP, WBS, SoW, BoE, Risk Register).

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain project management documents & artefacts in line with change control i.e. PMP, WBS, SoW, BoE, Risk register.
• Accountable for delivery to cost, specification and time for assigned packages of work in-line with business commitments.
• Support the creation and management of Supply Chain strategies for assigned work packages.
• Lead progress updates of the schedules with the relevant stakeholders.
• Report the status of assigned work in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor & review project data, identify trends, highlight anomalies and propose/implement corrective action if performance is outside specification.
• Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with processes to achieve project success criteria and financial objectives.
• Facilitate and manage risk and opportunity activities.
• Support to project management improvements in conjunction with the Project Management Function.
• Lead project management governance IPT meetings, propose and make decisions and escalate to project leadership as appropriate.
• Manage stakeholder and communications management activities.
• Create, maintain, and control P6 schedules reflecting scope, resources, and timescales.
• Support team related improvement and engagement initiatives.
