Job summary

Nuvia UK, part of the VINCI construction family, invites applications for an EC&I Engineer based in Plymouth. The role focuses on supporting the Design Manager, delivering EC&I work packages, and ensuring as-built accuracy while complying with safety and quality standards.

Hybrid working arrangement with opportunities across projects; candidate should have a degree in EC&I Engineering and progress toward Chartered status. Training and development are strongly emphasised.

Qualifications

• Experience designing EC&I systems, preferably in a nuclear context.
• As-built experience, including surveys and drawings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical design development.
• Understanding of engineering design, safety practice and project requirements.
• Familiar with company procedures for design, health & safety and quality.
• Experience with engineering software applications.
• Degree or equivalent in EC&I Engineering.
• Pursuing Chartered Engineer status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Design Manager in delivering project scope.
• Deliver EC&I activities to scope, quality, schedule and cost.
• Maintain EC&I documentation and as-built drawings.
• Conduct inspections and surveys of EC&I systems for compliance.
• Ensure quality management per the company system and manual.
• Document processes and maintain records with proper controls.
• Communicate risk assessments to staff and contractors.
