Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Designer/Engineer

About Us:

We are seeking a talented and experienced EC&I Designer/Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of technical drawings and documents essential for the successful implementation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Block Cable Diagrams to outline electrical connections and layouts.
• Instrument loops and hook-ups for process control systems.
• Termination Drawings for accurate installation of electrical components.
• Control System Sequence Drawings to illustrate operational sequences.
• General Arrangements for equipment and instrumentation placement.
• Panel Designs for control panels and distribution boards.
• Instrument datasheets detailing specifications and requirements.
• 61508 Suite of Drawings adhering to electrical safety standards.
• Specifications for EC&I systems and components.
• Electrical Power Distribution systems for efficiency and safety.
• Control Systems for process automation and optimization.
• Instruments to meet functional and performance requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in EC&I design, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for technical drawings.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including electrical safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems is a plus.
