Job summary

Morson Talent in the United Kingdom is seeking an EC&I Engineer for a client in the nuclear sector. The role includes decommissioning activities, support for the Continuous at Sea Deterrent, and assisting with operation and build of nuclear plants, with a flexible hybrid work pattern and a 37-hour week.

You will apply Electrical, Control and Instrumentation expertise to deliver project requirements, interface with customers and supply chain on design issues, ensure standards are followed,

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering degree and demonstrable experience in electrical engineering.
• Able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and interface with other disciplines.
• Security clearance BPSS eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to deliver project requirements.
• Interface with customers and supply chain on design issues and procurement specs.
• Ensure procedures, codes and standards are identified and applied to activities.
• Provide technical interface with stakeholders at a detailed level.
• Carry out investigations and data analysis for problem resolution and design improvements.
• Contribute to process improvements in quality, cycle time and asset utilisation.
• Produce and review outputs including calculations, analyses, technical reports, specs and method statements.
