Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a major project at Sellafield, Cumbria. You will deliver Electrical, Control and Instrumentation engineering within a complex environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

This contract role offers 37 hours per week and involves producing and reviewing engineering outputs, aligning with procedures, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering EC&I engineering within an engineering or project environment.
• Ability to produce engineering deliverables in accordance with defined specifications and procedures.
• Strong understanding of applicable engineering standards and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EC&I engineering outputs within agreed scope, quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Produce and review engineering documentation in alignment with project requirements and procedures.
• Apply relevant engineering standards, codes of practice and design guidance.
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Identify, document and manage engineering assumptions, constraints and risks.
• Support engineering checking, verification and review activities.
• Ensure all work is delivered with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.
• Contribute to engineering assurance processes and governance requirements.
