Job summary

EQUANS is seeking an EC&I Engineer to join the Fellside CHP maintenance team just outside the Sellafield estate. The role covers planning and delivering maintenance on rotating plant, HRSGs, and boilers, with a focus on reliability and safety across site operations.

You will work within the Embedded Energy division, applying EC&I expertise to support maintenance staff and project activities while contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ONC or HNC in Electrical or Instrument Engineering required.
• Strong understanding of instrument and control theory.
• Experience with EC&I problem solving and read of schematics.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and overhaul of gas and steam turbines.
• Oversee maintenance of HRSGs and fired boilers.
• Provide EC&I technical support to maintenance and operations teams.
• Ensure Safe Working Procedures are followed.
• Deliver reliability improvements and participate in project-related changes.
• Collaborate with cross-site teams to drive engineering improvements.
