United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) seeks an EC&I Design Engineer to contribute to electrical, control and instrumentation design from front end engineering through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.

Based in Preston or Risley, you will join a team of nuclear professionals, work on diverse projects, produce high‑quality deliverables and reports, and help ensure safety, compliance and timely project outcomes.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 18th Edition - BS:7671.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (UK residency and checks).

Responsabilités

• Support the production of EC&I design deliverables.
• Support the production of engineering reports.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Support the commissioning of new capabilities and facilities.
• Manage time and deliver quality work to agreed timescales.
