Job summary

PWHytek Ltd in Warrington is seeking two EC&I Control System Design Engineers to join the CE&I design team. You will deliver PES-based control system designs from concept to handover, support commissioning, and collaborate with other disciplines to meet business needs.

The role supports flexible working arrangements. The ideal candidate will have an HNC, Incorporated Engineer status, and at least 3 years of PES-based experience on external multidiscipline projects, with a solid understanding of

Responsibilities

• Deliver PES-based control system designs from concept through handover.

Job description

We are recruiting for 2x EC&I Control System Design Engineers for several major nuclear projects based in Warrington. To work within the CE&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking Programmable Electronic System (PES) based Control System designs/updates to meet functional and business needs. The implementation, testing and commissioning of the designs/updates is undertaken by other dedicated site-based teams hence is outside the scope of this role.

Essential Experience:

• Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
• Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
• Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
• Providing support to Commissioning
• Willingness to support early career Engineers

Desirable Experience:

• Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a PES based Control System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards
