MS Power Specialist Role

Part of an established transformation team in the IA Centre of Excellence, this role is responsible for supporting the expansion of our Microsoft Power Platform capability. The role-holder will work closely with the IA Solution Lead to define standards and ways of working for MS Power solutions, support upskilling of the team, design and deliver automation solutions, and collaborate with IA developers, Business Process Analysts, and stakeholders to drive standardisation, process improvement, and efficiency across RMG.

Key accountabilities
  1. Work with the IA Solutions team to establish and adhere to best practices, standards, and documentation to maximize business benefits.
  2. Design and deliver MS Power training to IA CoE Team members, citizen developers, and business SMEs.
  3. Benchmark and collaborate with software suppliers and industry experts for knowledge sharing and support.
  4. Create and maintain conceptual design documentation for automation delivery.
  5. Develop and configure automation solutions based on approved designs, following industry best practices and standards.
  6. Deliver IA solutions, including testing and deployment within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  7. Support the business and IA Service & Support team during testing, transition, and early live support phases.
  8. Utilize Agile methodologies throughout the development and delivery of solutions, working within a cross-functional scrum team.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Business Owners, SMEs, and Business Process Analysts.
  10. Address issues in automation processes promptly and effectively.
Key Skills
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer accreditation.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting MS Power solutions (Power Automate, Apps, Virtual Agent, Power Pages, Power BI, Co-Pilot).
  • Experience or willingness to learn solution architecture.
  • Experience or willingness to learn training and coaching others in Microsoft Power tools.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated through successful change management in large organizations.
  • Self-disciplined, quick learner with good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and perseverance with emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and accept additional responsibilities.
