Brief intro to the role:

As our Lead Cyber Security Engineer, you will work within the technology organization, focusing on the Compliance and Infosec program that safeguards TransferRoom and its global customers. You will maintain high standards of quality, prioritize automation, follow best practices, and deliver well-architected solutions and frameworks.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the implementation of the NIST cybersecurity framework at TransferRoom.
• Execute prioritized deliverables to optimize and improve the security posture of the platform and business.
• Manage stakeholder interactions with high customer service standards.
• Maintain a proactive attitude, seeking growth and sharing knowledge to develop others.
• Demonstrate technical expertise through your work.
• Apply a risk-based approach to daily tasks.

Who you are:

• Experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Cyber Security roles.
• Proven success in implementing security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud and the well-architected framework.
• Understanding of risk management principles.
• A motivated team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to haves:

• Relevant certifications (vendor, product, methodology, or industry).
• Experience with configuration management, vulnerability scanning, proxies, WAFs, and artefact management.
• Experience in secured cloud architectures, especially Azure.
