What You Will Do

  1. Interact with customers as the ‘face’ of Metro Bank, demonstrating sound knowledge of our products and services while delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. Work as part of a team, prioritising tasks based on customer demand and store objectives.
  3. Act as a brand ambassador in the community, supporting the store to be the number one community bank.
  4. Stay informed about regulatory and non-regulatory training and changes to ensure compliance and fairness in all transactions.

Working Arrangements & Training

Metro Bank Chelmsford's working arrangements are Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:15 pm. We are currently hiring for 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.

What You Will Need

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.
  • Understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for yourself and our customers.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Capability to deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in customer service and operating within controlled processes is essential; prior finance or banking experience is not always required.
