Trainee Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Electrician / Multi Skilled)

Location: Oswestry, Shropshire

Salary: GBP 30,000 to GBP 40,000 DOE + Company Pension + Onsite Parking + Cycle to Work Scheme

Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off (2 Days, 2 Nights)

A market-leading, family-run company is seeking a Trainee Maintenance Engineer. This role offers extensive training and a clear pathway to becoming a multi-skilled maintenance engineer.

The successful candidate will join a team of eight and be responsible for electrical and mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance on various production equipment.

The Trainee Maintenance Engineer Role includes:

1. Preventative and reactive maintenance
2. Electrical maintenance: PLC-controlled switchgear, inverter-controlled drives, solenoids, and limit switches
3. Mechanical maintenance: conveyors, elevators, compressors, hammermill grinders, pellet presses, etc.
4. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights

Candidate Requirements:

1. Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
2. Open to candidates from any industry background
