Trainee Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Electrician / Multi Skilled)

Oswestry, Shropshire

£30,000 to £40,000 DOE + Company Pension + Onsite Parking + Cycle to Work Scheme

Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off (6-6, 2 Days, 2 Nights)

The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified and eager to develop into a multi-skilled maintenance engineer. You will join a team of eight responsible for both electrical and mechanical pre-planned preventative maintenance, as well as reactive maintenance on various production equipment.

The Trainee Maintenance Engineer Role Includes:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Electrical maintenance involving PLC-controlled switchgear, inverter-controlled drives, solenoids, and limit switches
• Mechanical maintenance including conveyors, elevators, compressors, hammermill grinders, pellet presses, etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Industry experience is beneficial but not essential
