Job Opportunity: Head Chef at Aramark UK

Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Head Chef to join our team at Polaris House, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1ET.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing kitchen operations, ensuring cost efficiency, and producing innovative, high-quality menus within budget to boost sales.
  • Leading and mentoring culinary staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Developing staff through training, implementing new procedures, and fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Maintaining effective client and customer relationships and staying updated on culinary trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational standards, managing supply chain and procurement, and handling back-office tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
  • Clean Enhanced DBS.
  • Experience in an educational environment preferred.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with an annual salary of £30,749.54.
