Brewhouse & Kitchen is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Southampton. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, detail-oriented, and skilled in motivating their team. This full-time role offers competitive salary and benefits, including a bonus scheme and flexible shifts.
Role Purpose
Food is incredibly important at B&K, and our Head Chefs are the leaders in our kitchen. You will be passionate about food, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work. You will excel at motivating and developing your team to deliver flawless execution in a fun and supportive environment. Communication is key, especially with your General Manager. We value work/life balance, so all Head Chefs are contracted to work 40 hours per week (Full time equivalent).
As a Head Chef in our Brewpubs, you will be driven to deliver excellent service daily. Your main responsibilities include managing food stock, ensuring safe working practices, and leading your team to comply with food safety regulations. You will also be actively involved in the preparation and cooking of our menu, ensuring dishes meet our high standards, with opportunities to contribute creatively to menu development.
