Prospero Teaching have an exciting opportunity for a Year 1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Castle Bromwich, starting after February half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The Role
As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring each child is supported in their learning journey. You will work closely with the team, sharing best practices and contributing to the development of the schools overall ethos.
This position is open to both experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Induction and support will be provided for ECTs, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into the role.

Location – Castle Bromwich, Birmingham
Position – Year 1 Primary Teacher
Type of work – Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc

Full time/part time – Full time
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP130 per day
Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
QTS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
