Job description

Overview:

Gopuff is looking for a Junior Operations Supervisor to join the Operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, the Junior OS plays a vital role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. This role is a core part of the Site leadership team, responsible for maintaining high operational standards at our MFCs to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.

Customers turn to Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn’t hurt if you like snacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading: Demonstrate leadership by example, managing staff on shift, training new team members, and being confident in processes and products.
• Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack items per order for dispatch.
• Delivery Partners: Support management of Delivery Partners to ensure smooth delivery experiences.
• Issue Resolution: Contact customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Goods Inbound: Receive products, ensure counts match purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Stock Management: Organize inventory, conduct cycle counts, and manage waste and compliance, including our partnership with TooGoodToGo.
• Warehouse Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse aligned with Operating Standards.
• Health and Safety: Support onsite health and safety compliance and testing.

About You:

• Experience in a restaurant, retail, or warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of web-based software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and honesty.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized, team-oriented, positive attitude, and helpful.
• Flexible availability to cover shifts from 7am to 3am.
