Job Opportunity: Experienced Project Manager

We are working with a long-standing, reputable, and established Main Contractor operating throughout the Lancashire region. Specialising in Education and Healthcare projects, alongside commercial and leisure developments, the company works on numerous long-term frameworks and has a healthy pipeline of future work. They handle both refurbishment and new build projects.

The company is seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves working on refurbishment and new build extensions to a hospital.

1. Assist in developing the procurement programme
2. Manage the selection of sub-contractors
3. Oversee site personnel, work activities, and resources to meet contract requirements
4. Monitor the project budget
5. Develop project programmes, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery
6. Ensure contracts comply with health, safety, and welfare regulations
7. Make sure site personnel (including visitors) are aware of their health, safety, and welfare obligations
8. Manage the identification of site hazards and implement assessment and risk control measures
9. Ensure regular performance reviews and appraisals for reporting staff
10. Identify and facilitate individual development and training needs
11. Maintain trust and support among reporting personnel
12. Support individuals facing performance challenges
13. Manage and implement procedures related to recruitment, discipline, and grievances

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a stable and progressive career background with strong experience in Public Sector, Commercial, Healthcare refurbishment, and new build projects.

The salary for this position is up to £55,000 plus a car allowance and benefits package, depending on experience.
