Position: Field Service Engineer (Local Travel)

Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 Basic with OTE around £20k

Location: Essex - Regional Travel

Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Are you looking for a field-based role where you aren't spending most nights away? Do you want a position where the majority of work is within a 1-hour commute of your home? Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support maintenance and servicing of machinery at large customer sites.

The client is a reputable contracting business serving industries such as industrial power stations, aggregates, chemical, oil & gas. They require a candidate experienced in similar environments who can quickly adapt and understand the working conditions.

While this is a field service role, most travel will be within 1 hour from home, with the benefit of returning home daily.

Skills and Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering background
• Experience rewiring electrical systems
• Experience in heavy industrial environments such as aggregates, power, oil & gas, chemical, waste/recycling (including anaerobic digestion plants), petro-chemicals, HVM
• 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• Full clean UK driving license
