School Maintenance Caretaker

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector? We are currently recruiting Maintenance professionals to support school site teams in carrying out general maintenance and site work across various schools in the area.

This role offers both full-time and part-time positions throughout the school year, with contracts varying in duration. There may also be opportunities to transition to a permanent contract, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be flexible with working hours, as some schools require split shifts, for example: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., then return at 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in schools
• Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
• Open and close school buildings
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Set and deactivate alarms

Requirements

• Full registration with us, including providing right to work documents
• Obtain an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check, which we will process at a cost of £56.20 unless you already have a valid DBS registered on the update service
