Job description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in Liverpool Street, London. The role will be Monday to Friday with 1 to 2 days work from home a week.

Let's talk about the role. It involves:

  • Preparing and filing approx. 60 sets of statutory accounts for the Group's subsidiaries in CaseWare.
  • Working with tax advisors, BDO, to prepare and file annual tax returns.
  • Undertaking monthly balance sheet analysis with support from finance business partners and providing commentary.
  • Support on acquisitions from a finance and tax perspective, reviewing completion accounts and resolving matters with the venders until approval and handover to the management accounting team.
  • Supporting the annual audit process around technical accounting matters including purchase price-accounting and fair value adjustments to acquisition balance sheets
  • Drive finance system improvements with a mindsight around improving efficiency and enabling the business to scale.
  • Support on ad hoc projects, including supporting incoming DD requests.

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT Literate/good knowledge Microsoft packages/Excel/Word.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and CaseWare is highly advantageous.
