Job Description:
We are looking for a creative, efficient and independent Marketing Manager with 5 years of Marketing Experience (including 1 year in manager position) to amplify Fair Shot’s brand and thought leadership and grow our revenue streams, audience and engagement by developing impactful, multi-channel B2B and B2C marketing and communications campaigns for our impact, ecommerce and retail.You will be working alongside the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships & the Head of Operations, providing the opportunity to contribute to our wider strategic aims.
This is a rewarding role for a marketing professional who wants to be on the frontline of growing brand awareness and loyalty. Your ultimate goal will be to bring Fair Shot to a wider audience all while supporting our different departments - cafe, events, fundraising, training and employment programme and DEI consulting - with their marketing and comms needs. You'll have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record providing excellent marketing support across all relevant departments. A combination of big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery, this role will suit someone who is keen to build from the ground up.

The marketing manager is responsible for increasing brand awareness & growing audiences in order to drive revenue and further Fair Shot's impact. As a result knowledge and expertise in crafting & executing engaging campaigns is critical.
- Taking an impact driven approach to engage a variety of audiences through successful multi-channel marketing campaigns, and to promote the variety of our purpose-led products to enhance the sustainability of the charity.
- Collaborating with cross department leaders to create traction and generate quality leads from corporate engagement
- Partner with internal teams (café operations, employment programme, partnerships) to align messaging and priorities.
- Contribute marketing expertise to organisation-wide planning and decision-making.
- Collaborating with the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to support the establishment of commercial partnerships and fundraising initiatives.
- Being one of the leading voices in our new impact product -Inclusive Coffee,support relevant teams in generating leads to identify market opportunities and create promotion plans to expand our reach while building an industry presence.
- Design and implement marketing activities to increase customer traffic and loyalty at the FairShot café.
- Coordinate seasonal and promotional campaigns (events, holidays, impact products) to drive transactions and brand buzz.
Brand management
- Owning our website and all social media channels, in collaboration with the marketing and communication assistant and seasonal resources, ensure optimised functionality, performance and user experience.
- Working along side marketing and communication assistant in creating and executing a content strategy that drives traffic, leads, and engagement for Fair Shot.
- Act as a brand guardian across all touch-points, maintaining a consistent and inclusive tone of voice and visual identity.
- Build our brand in the neurodiversity and social impact sectors through creative, strategic marketing. While PR will be a collaborative effort supported internally, you’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities and arranging interviews and features that elevate our voice and impact.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to support sales, fundraising, advocacy, and partnerships.
- Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, print, PR) with clear objectives, timelines and ROI
- Identify and act on market opportunities, trends, and insights to elevate Fair Shot’s visibility and social enterprise revenue.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising team to create campaign assets, digital comms, and pitch materials for donors and commercial partners.
- Contribute to building corporate partnerships by supplying tailored marketing materials and showcasing impact stories.
- Use data insights to inform and refine audience segmentation, improve targeting strategies, and increase overall marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manages agreed monthly budget and optimise marketing effort, while feedback to senior management on where the next opportunities are.
- Work with Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to set and execute annual marketing strategy, to be reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.
Internal
- Leading on ROI reporting on large scale campaigns to smaller scale marketing activities across all channels, provide insights and plans of actions to build a continuous learning path for the charity.
- Investigating and implementing evaluation and monitoring processes for all marketing and communications activities, including regularly producing reports for patrons, funders, management team and Board of Trustees
- Working collaboratively across the organisation, act as an integral part of the management team in workplace behaviour
- Proactive in cross-departmental planning, ensuring marketing insights and customer engagement data inform wider organisational decision-making.
- Champion inclusive communication in all internal and external messaging, reinforcing Fair Shot’s values and mission.
Digital content
- Own website management (Squarespace), ensuring up-to-date, engaging, and optimised content.
- Lead Fair Shot’s social media presence across all channels with support from a Marketing Assistant, developing content plans that engage and grow our audiences.
- Develop strong visual and written assets (Canva templates, comms packs, digital brochures, etc.)
- Track and analyse marketing data to evaluate effectiveness, providing actionable insights for optimisation.
Experience
- 5 years experience in marketing, including 1 year in manager position
- Strong experience working in a similar role with a very good understanding ofmarketing and brand.
- Understand partnership funnel and concept of CRM
- Strong analytical skills, able to manipulate and analyse data across a variety of media to optimise integration performance and engagement
- Working with people with learning disabilities (desired)
- Proven track record in creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies and digital social media.
- Excellent analytical, proactive problem solving, and customer service skills
