Role Overview: This position involves supporting tax audits on high-profile clients across various sectors, acting as a tax accounting specialist for non-audit clients, and assisting with complex engagements such as provisioning, GAAP conversions, carve-out, and acquisition accounting. Clients include FTSE companies, AIM-listed firms, large inbound, and private equity-backed businesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage multiple tax audits, serving as the primary contact with audit teams.
2. Collaborate with junior staff and tax partners to deliver quality work.
3. Engage in ad hoc projects, applying tax accounting expertise in diverse contexts.
4. Act as a key contact for tax accounting queries within the practice.
5. Coach and train junior team members.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in tax accounting and auditing with a focus on specialization.
• Knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS; US GAAP experience is a plus.
• Corporate tax advisory and compliance experience.
• Strong project management skills and team leadership capabilities.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Ability to engage with senior management and stakeholders.
• Degree educated; CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
