Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 20 hours per week, with shift patterns typically covering 5 out of 7 days. Please note, the contract is for 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Using machinery and equipment correctly and safely
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supplies
• Representing Chartwells and upholding a positive brand image
• Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Following Health & Safety regulations
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels
• Being an excellent team player with a committed and organized approach
• Demonstrating a desire to succeed and reliability in timekeeping
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required
