Position: Sales Operations Project Manager

Sales Operations Project Manager

Reporting to the EMEA Sales Operations Manager, this role focuses on the timely and successful implementation of new complex customer and company engagements. The individual will lead in advising the strategic sales teams on aligning systemic capabilities with customer and internal needs. Once alignment is achieved, the person will lead process definition and project planning to meet implementation timelines, enabling strategic sales to remain externally focused. The role also involves developing new capabilities as new requirements are identified, contributing to Arrow's long-term market-share objectives.

Principal accountabilities:

  1. Manage & execute complex projects related to special assignments, customer-specific supply, acquisitions, mergers, change management, strategy execution, and organizational changes.
  2. Oversee processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy, tracking shipments, deliveries, billing, and backlog activities; provide sales reports; respond to order inquiries; resolve customer order issues.
  3. Manage customer retention activities, including CRM, resolving concerns, and developing contact strategies.
  4. Handle return materials authorization (RMA) processes efficiently.
  5. Resolve escalated operational issues, including vendor concerns and contract reviews.
  6. Design and implement new processes for special services and programs; conduct market research to determine appropriate pricing for non-standard items.
  7. Develop and evaluate personnel, including hiring, training, and monitoring staff performance.
  8. Oversee customer quote activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to guidelines.
