Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Reporting to: Commercial Finance Manager

About The Role

KIMS Hospital, the largest independent hospital in Kent, is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst Assistant to support the delivery of insightful, accurate and timely financial and activity data across the wider group, including LycaHealth Canary Wharf, LycaHealth Orpington and Orpington Endoscopy Solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to support our Commercial Finance team in a varied and fast-paced role. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, playing a key part in maintaining data integrity, supporting reporting processes, and contributing to decision-making across the organisation.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist in the production, analysis and submission of activity and revenue data, ensuring all internal and external reporting deadlines are met. You will support with a range of commercial finance processes including month-end reporting, data maintenance, and the preparation of business cases.

You will work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Finance Analyst to ensure central data repositories and lookups are kept accurate and up to date. The role also involves assisting with ad-hoc data and reporting requests, supporting internal systems such as InPhase, and contributing to submissions to external bodies such as NHS and PHIN.

You will be expected to take a collaborative approach to support colleagues across the team, particularly during peak periods and when covering annual leave.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a data-driven environment. You will need to be confident using Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency and presentation. You will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments and external organisations.
