Role Responsibilities

1. Actively manage the financial situation of satellite production projects.
2. Ensure all deliverables are met regarding monthly reporting to Primes or provide accurate and timely reporting to the local Work Package Managers and Project Managers.
3. Serve as the review point for all financially relevant contractual matters, such as Supply Contracts, Works Orders, or Change Notices.
4. Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare the financial aspects of contract changes.
5. Manage cost allocation to work packages and provide high-quality variance analysis with inputs from Work Package Managers (WPMs) and Project Managers (PMs).
6. Produce monthly financial reports on project Key Performance Indicators, comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast.
7. Hold regular cost review meetings with Work Package Managers to capture Cost To Complete (CTC), including labour, materials, and equipment costs.
8. Work with your projects to ensure on-time achievement of financial milestones and adherence to processes.
9. Analyze project actual costs and correct mis-bookings.
10. Forecast project resourcing and manpower requirements by work package.
11. Track major project non-quality events for communication to senior management.
12. Collaborate with the Finance team to support overall program financial consolidation.
13. Respond to ad hoc requests and contribute to process improvements.

Skills Required

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey the importance of finance to non-finance personnel.
• Experience in a project-based environment.
• Highly numerate and computer literate.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in management accounting within a project-based environment.
• Knowledge of another European language (French or German) is advantageous.
• Experience working in a large, multinational environment.
• Experience working with multiple currencies.

This is an umbrella contract; the role is Inside IR35.
