We are now hiring a skilled Turner/Miller to join our workshop team in Dumfries, Scotland.

Candidate Requirements

• Expertise in tooling, assembly, maths, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Utilise logic controllers for machine operation.
• Conduct milling and turning operations.
• Assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

Person Specification

• Proficiency in using hand tools for machining tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of logic controllers.
• Experience with manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Ability to perform maths calculations for measurements and dimensions.
