Job description

To program using Mazatrol and manufacture components according to drawings, procedures, and programmes as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor within the times set out on route cards, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and efficiently manufacture equipment and parts.
2. Take a proactive role to improve delivery performance, e.g., new methods, tooling, etc.
3. Understand and interpret technical plans and drawings.
4. Record time accurately onto Mercury System via capture gun, and sign off route card to indicate operation completion.
5. Care and maintenance of machines, ensuring they are cleaned at the end of each shift and oil levels are correct.
6. Identify faults with machines and report to Supervisor/Manager.
7. Immediately report any faults in quality or efficiency and investigate to resolve them with the assistance of the Supervisor/Manager.
8. Record all machined components using data capture gun.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications/Experience

• Engineering Apprenticeship (e.g., time served turner/miller) or relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of Mazak Integrex programming/operating experience.
