Job summary

Zest Optical is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands, managing existing accounts and developing new business across independent optical practices. The role focuses on consultative selling of eyewear collections and building lasting relationships with practice owners and decision-makers.

You will travel the region regularly, report on territory performance, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical or eyewear industry preferred.
• Field sales or business development experience in B2B.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive in developing new business.
• Ability to build relationships with independent business owners and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to cover a large geographical territory.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of independent optical accounts across the East Midlands.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with practice owners and key decision-makers.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Present and sell a diverse portfolio of eyewear collections to optical practices.
• Drive revenue growth across both new and existing customer accounts.
• Regularly visit customers across the region to showcase new collections and provide ongoing account support.
• Analyse territory and account performance to identify opportunities for further growth.
• Deliver high level of customer service and become a trusted commercial partner to practices.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, trade events and customer meetings.
• Work closely with wider sales and marketing teams to support overall business growth.
