Job summary

Ingleton Wood in Norwich is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to deliver a high-quality building surveying service across the practice and for clients. You will lead on projects from inception to completion, including appraisals, planning applications, building control, procurement and contract administration, with responsibility for budget and site supervision.

You will mentor apprentices and graduates, help grow the Norwich team, and work with senior management to develop new business

Qualifications

• Chartered membership with RICS
• Post-qualification experience after RICS
• Interest in growing the Norwich surveying team and mentoring junior staff
• Strong client and business development focus in East Anglia
• Project management experience with delivery from inception to closeout
• Financial oversight of projects including fees, budgets and profitability

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of building surveying projects from inception to completion, including appraisals, planning, building control, procurement and contract management
• Supervise and co-ordinate internal teams; manage site supervision and defect resolution
• Collaborate with senior management to develop the Norwich office and wider discipline
• Mentor apprentices and graduates to develop professional qualifications and delivery skills
• Project manage schemes up to £5m in value with full internal coordination
• Meet annual and monthly fee targets as directed by the Office Partner
