Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery in Berkhamsted is seeking Modern Apprentices to train alongside our experienced childcare professionals while working towards a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 20% of your time dedicated to off-the-job learning.

No previous childcare experience is required; we welcome applicants from 17 years old and will provide full training and support. Earn while you learn at £16,764.80 per annum.

Qualifications

• No previous childcare experience is required; transferable skills from other roles and life experience are valued.
• Training to Level 3 qualification in Early Years with full training and support.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children with daily routines such as meals, playtime, naps, and personal care
• Following nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidance
• Expressing an interest in child development and learning
• A passion for the Early Years sector
