Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery in Haslemere is offering a Modern Apprentice role in Early Years. We welcome applicants from 17 years old who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development and want to start a rewarding career while earning.

You will train alongside our experienced childcare team, work 40 hours per week, and study toward a Level 3 Early Years qualification. No prior childcare experience is required; full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• No previous childcare experience is required.
• Training begins with hands-on, job-specific skills in a nursery setting.
• 40 hours per week with 20% off-the-job learning when applicable.
• You will gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a wage.

Responsibilities

• Support children with daily routines, care, and wellbeing.
• Assist with learning through play and development activities.
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidance.
• Engage with families and contribute to a positive nursery environment.
